The Pinto Campus represents a significant investment in the future of forensic and medicolegal services in Clark County. The project will transform an existing County-owned campus into a cohesive, secure and efficient home for the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner, bringing together administrative, forensic, operational and support functions within an integrated campus environment.
LGA’s design includes the renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing three-story former ambulatory building for administrative and operational functions, a new one-story forensic services addition and a new four-story structured parking garage. Campus-wide improvements also include enhanced circulation, perimeter security, controlled access and supporting site and landscape improvements.
A primary planning consideration is the careful separation of public and family visitors, staff, service activities and decedent transport. The campus is organized around clear and secure circulation paths that support the specialized workflows of the Coroner/Medical Examiner while maintaining privacy, dignity, safety and operational efficiency.
The design establishes a unified civic identity across both the existing and new facilities. Architecture, materials, landscaping, shade, and site planning respond to the Southern Nevada climate while creating an environment that balances the technical demands of forensic operations with a respectful and welcoming experience for families, visitors and staff.
Through close collaboration with Clark County, the Coroner/Medical Examine, and the consultant team, LGA is helping reposition the Pinto Campus as a modern and resilient facility capable of supporting current operational needs while providing flexibility for the County’s continued growth.
