Community centers are places where memories are made and meaningful connections are formed. Clark County is continuing its investment in community recreation with the new Echo Trail Community Center, once again trusting LGA to provide architectural and interior design services for this major expansion of recreational amenities in southwest Las Vegas.
Building upon the successful program of LGA’s Silverado Ranch Community Center, the new facility expands opportunities for recreation, wellness, education, and community connection. The program includes a gymnasium designed to accommodate two regulation high school basketball courts, three volleyball courts, and six pickleball or badminton courts, along with a mezzanine-level indoor walking track, fitness and dance spaces, multipurpose rooms, classrooms for art, music and yoga, a demonstration kitchen, and administrative offices.
Located just west of the existing Echo Trail Park near Buffalo Drive and Russell Road, the approximately 60,000-square-foot Echo Trail Community Center will create a new indoor destination for recreation, wellness, learning, and community gathering.
The community center is being thoughtfully integrated into the larger Echo Trail Park expansion, with LGA’s design addressing building orientation, site access, parking, utility connections, an outdoor event plaza, and connections to the surrounding park improvements. Together, the indoor and outdoor amenities will give families and residents of all ages more opportunities to gather, recreate, learn, and connect close to home.
The $40 million community center is anticipated for completion by the end of 2028.
